Develop a platform to connect users who want to share parking spaces

ALICANTE, 3 Nov. (EUROPA PRESS) -

A platform that allows connections to be established to share parking spaces is the "innovative" development launched by the start-up Parkiduo. This company has signed, together with the rector of the Miguel Hernández University (UMH) of Elche, Juan José Ruiz, its incorporation into the business network of the UMH Science Park (PCUMH).

The company, which was selected to participate in the Acelera UMH program, is promoted by entrepreneur Laura Sempere.

Through this platform, users who are looking for parking spaces for specific periods of time, for example, during their work hours, can indicate through the application where and between what hours they need to park.

Once they have done so, they receive a notification with the available garages and can select the one that best suits their needs.

In order to establish the agreement between both parties, the platform facilitates contact between the owner and the applicant.

In this way, they can agree on the terms and conditions necessary to share the parking, such as the schedule, price or period of time, among others.

Likewise, through this platform, those users who have a parking space that they wish to share can publish it for free.

To do this, they must fill out a form in which they indicate, among other information, the time when the location will be available, the size of the space and contact information. Also, attach a photograph of it, details the academic institution in a statement.

With this platform, the company seeks to "facilitate fast parking at a competitive price, reduce vehicle risks, and contribute to more sustainable mobility, optimizing existing resources and reducing pollution."
