The secretary of Institutional Action of Podemos, María Teresa Pérez, has branded the president of the Community of Madrid, Isabel Díaz Ayuso, "irresponsible" for her rejection of the energy saving plan and has accused her of "wasting" because "she despises the suffering of the citizens.

He has also pointed out that the leader of the PP, Alberto Núñez Feijóo, shows once again that "he is not moderate" by allowing "characters like Ayuso to say authentic barbarities" about the measures to obtain greater energy efficiency to counteract the negative effects generated by the Ukraine war.

"Ayuso wastes energy because he despises the suffering of citizens. In fact, I would say that Ayuso cares too much about tourists and very little about the people of Cañada Real, whom he leaves without electricity at the worst times," he has launched in statements to Europe Press.

Faced with this position of the Madrid president, the also director of Injuve has opposed the attitude of the coalition government, focused on alleviating the effects of high energy prices and taking "all paths" that lead to increasing energy sovereignty.

In fact, the leader of the purple party has reflected that Ayuso's critical stance on these energy saving measures is in line with that of his party, since the PP is "systematically voting against all proposals and measures that benefit the social majority and caring for the planet".

Moreover, Pérez has opined that Feijóo, although "he always says that he supports common sense measures", in the end "does the opposite" and acts in line with the "PP of always".

He has also attacked the position of the Community of Madrid, after advancing that it will study whether the decree of the central government is unconstitutional, by criticizing that "the right uses falsely technical excuses to try to avoid talking about the problems that citizens need", opting for issue "political propaganda for their private benefit".

Along these lines and on Ayuso's argument that an efficiency measure is to reduce executive ministries, Pérez responded that the PP "has made it clear that its objective is to put an end to the coalition government and kick out United We Can", when precisely his formation guarantees "stability" to the country "in the worst moments".

And it is that he has defended that the Government has reacted with "agility" and responded in favor of citizens in the face of the crisis of the pandemic and the conflict in Ukraine, moments of "great uncertainty" and where citizens expected "certainties".
