Vox will take the energy saving decree to the TC

MADRID, 25 Ago. (EUROPA PRESS) -

The president of Vox, Santiago Abascal, announced this Thursday that his party will appeal to the Constitutional Court (TC) the decree law that includes energy saving measures, which in his opinion violates the rights of Spaniards.

In statements in the corridors of Congress, Abascal has affirmed that the coalition government is "determined to bring ruin, waste and insecurity" to the country and has assured that the measures of that decree law extend "the ration cards to the energy field".

For this reason, the formation that he leads will file an appeal of unconstitutionality "appealing to the principle of security and respect for the rights of the Spanish, which are being violated."

Abascal has also taken the opportunity to reproach the President of the Government, Pedro Sánchez, for his absence in Congress when a plenary session convened by the Executive itself is held and that decree law is debated, and meanwhile he offers himself in Colombia to host the peace dialogue: "Sánchez has very few scruples, he has very little respect for this chamber," he maintains.

In his opinion, it is appreciated that the Government assumes now that a "very hard winter" is coming, but he believes that it should also "acknowledge its guilt" and call the general elections now.
