Velaris raises 4.7 million in a seed round led by Octopus Ventures

MADRID, 8 Sep. (EUROPA PRESS) -

The Velaris client management platform has raised 4.7 million euros in a seed round that has been led by Octopus Ventures and that has also had the participation of Zaka VC, Fintech 365 and several 'business angels'.

The company has explained in a statement that it will allocate a part of this capital injection to incorporate artificial intelligence and machine learning algorithms into its platform to expand and improve its features.

Founded in 2021, Velaris aims to respond to the disconnect between data from internal tools used by companies in different business areas, which "prevents them from having a global vision of the business".

"In difficult times like the current ones, companies try more to retain their customers than to expand their market. For their part, customers try to reduce costs and are forced to identify which ones are expendable. Therefore, for a technological services the challenge today is to know if it is adding value to its clients and at the same time to have a real knowledge of the business situation of these clients", explained the co-founder of Velaris, José Fernández-Castaño.
