Vape anatomy: What are the Different Parts of a Vaping Device?

Before purchasing or using a vape, you have to first understand its anatomy. Tank

It is the central part of a vaping tool seeing as it houses the e-juice and all the essential atomizers as a single unit. The tank is also divided into three sections which are the main body, base, and lid. As the vape heats, the wick dunks up the liquid coming from the tank and the atomizer before the liquid is heated and transformed to vapor by the coil. Therefore the tank's role is to replenish the wick with the liquid.

Coil

It's like the heart of your device. Without it, there will be no form of vaporization since it is responsible for heating the liquid to vapor. The type of wire determines the coil’s resistance and the number of wire wraps available. You can quickly determine the resistance using an ohmmeter. The ohms level affects the flavor and the vapor produced. Coils with less resistance produce warm vapor and giant clouds. The downside is that you will be exhausting your liquid quickly; hence you'll have to keep on restocking. Those with high resistance generate cool vapor and few currents, thus, you get to use the liquid a little longer.

 Despite its simplicity, the coil is an integral part of the device. It's made up of simple wires. You can make your wire selection depending on the quality of vapor you want. There are various coils in the market, from ceramic to stainless ones; whichever your preference is, it should match your usage and expectations.

Battery

The device uses power from a single battery unit. Most vapes have their batteries pre-set to a standard voltage limitation and temperature regulation options. It means that they cannot be interfered with to ruin your experience. However, technical devices allow the user to adjust the voltage and temperature to their liking. Therefore if you are new to vaping, you can first purchase the pre-set one and, as you go on, maybe advance to the technical ones.

Drip Tip

Not most people pay attention to this part. It’s lies immediately after the atomizer and allows the liquid to pass through it and directly into the coil for heating. That said,  it also plays a significant role in the vaporization of the liquid.
