This is the 2022 public employment offer in the BOE: opening of calls, number of places and open positions

The Government has just approved the largest public employment offer in history, a measure that has generated much expectation due to the window of opportunity that opens to achieve a stable job in the public sector.

According to what was published this Wednesday in the BOE, there are a total of 44,787 places, of which 34,151 correspond to the ordinary offer and 10,636 to the interim staff stabilization offer.

Within the 34,151 places of the ordinary public employment offer for 2022, a total of 25,471 are for the General State Administration, which are divided as follows: 15,880 free entry and 9,591 internal promotion.

In addition, 4,992 positions are opened for the National Police and the Civil Guard (2,906 for the National Police and 2,086 for the Civil Guard), of which 4,342 are free entry and 650 internal promotion.

For the Administration of Justice there are 1,737 positions, of which 945 are free entry and 792 internal promotion.

There are also 1,951 positions offered for the Armed Forces: 842 for direct entry and 1,109 for internal promotion.

In principle, the intention is that the positions for the General State Administration be announced before December 31, 2022. The Government has urged the rest of the organizations to follow that calendar, which also contemplates that the processes end before December 31 December 2024.

Public entities will communicate through their digital pages the number of places, the specifications of each one and the bases in which the mode of attendance will be detailed. They can also be consulted on the general website of the Administration.

In this sense, it should also be noted that whoever is interested in a position in a specific body is recommended to monitor the websites of the different ministries and public bodies with some frequency.

On the other hand, this Wednesday's BOE includes the complete list of the places called.

Some examples of the places called for in the public employment offer are the 19 State lawyers for the State Administration bodies, of which one of the places corresponds to the reserve for people with general disabilities.

Another example within the bodies of the State Administration are the 140 positions for Treasury inspectors, the 49 for aeronautical engineers, the 76 for road, canal and port engineers, the 55 for veterinarians, the 20 for translators and interpreters, or 2:00 p.m. for geographers.

On the other hand, there are 273 vacancies for scientists belonging to public research organizations and 115 for health inspection doctors-inspectors of the Social Security Administration or

As for the places for the National Police, of the 2,456, 491 are reserved for professional military troops and sailors who have at least five years of service.

In the case of the Civil Guard, 669 places are reserved for professional soldiers and sailors with at least five years of service and, in addition, 175 for students of the College of Young Guards.
