The Secretary of Organization of the PSOE, Santos Cerdán, has assured today that the Government "fulfills its commitments", when asked if the increase in military spending is going to be included in the General State Budgets for 2023, to which the President of the Government with NATO.
The socialist leader responded in this way when asked about the opposition of Podemos to accept that "not one cent" be increased in this game. "The PSOE fulfills the commitments, it is evident and we are always going to fulfill them", Cerdán has riveted.
However, he did not want to reveal whether the accounts for the next year will be approved by the Council of Ministers tomorrow. He has limited himself to saying that he trusts that the agreement will be closed as soon as possible, but he has specified that it will be the Minister of Finance, María Jesús Montero, who will give the appropriate explanations.
Socialist sources have specified that the negotiation on the General State Budgets is about to be closed and they highlight as important that the two partners share the fiscal model. The rest, they say, are fringes and details that are adjusted and agreements are reached.
