The PP will seek this week that Congress rejects the harmonization of Patrimony and Inheritance taxes

MADRID, 2 Oct. (EUROPA PRESS) -

The Territorial Policy Commission of the Congress will address this week an initiative of the PP with which they intend that the groups reject a harmonization of some taxes assigned to the autonomous communities, in particular, those of Patrimony and Inheritance and Donations.

Those of Alberto Núñez Feijóo take this non-law proposal to Congress in the midst of the debate on the taxation of the autonomous communities and after the Minister of Inclusion, Social Security and Migration, José Luis Escrivá, launched a reflection betting on harmonizing some taxes to avoid fiscal war between regions.

According to the text of the initiative, to which Europa Press has had access, the 'popular' want Congress to urge the Government to "respect the constitutional principle of financial autonomy of the communities and, consequently, to assume the bases of the organization Spanish territory with regard, in particular, to the capacity of the autonomous communities to freely decide their income and expenses within the framework of their competence".

In the statement of reasons, the PP reproaches the Government for "repeatedly announcing its willingness to harmonize different taxes assigned to the communities" because they understand that this exercise "hides, in practice, a frontal attack on the powers and fiscal autonomy of certain communities.

In this context, the 'popular' denounce that "this fiscal ruse" intends, in their opinion, to increase the fiscal pressure in communities of political opposition to the Sánchez Executive and, in particular, "in Galicia, Madrid, Andalusia, Castile and Leon and Murcia".
