The "combat riot" against the leader of the 'popular' groups disfigures the Government before the fall of the PSOE in the polls

MADRID, 26 Ago. (EUROPA PRESS) -

The Popular Party has reiterated this Friday its willingness to resume negotiations on State issues with the Government, one day after Congress validated the energy saving decree despite the 'no' of the 'popular', although the main party of the The opposition believes that it would be easier to resume the dialogue if Pedro Sánchez does not throw his proposals "into the garbage can".

This has been transferred by the general coordinator and the deputy secretary of Organization of the PP, Elías Bendodo and Miguel Tellado, respectively, in statements to Telecinco and esRradio, collected by Europa Press.

“I already tell you that I am delighted and as soon as possible to talk about important issues, but the Government does not want to, cannot, its partners do not let it, this is the reality,” said Bendodo when asked if Feijóo is going to call Sánchez to resume contact.

Bendodo has affirmed that in April Feijóo met with Sánchez in Moncloa shortly after being appointed leader of the PP and showed him his "commitment" as a state party to advance pacts for justice, energy, the Constitution or the National security. "None has been heard", he has lamented him.

According to the coordinator, the PP has sent "serious" proposals to the Government that are worked on with experts, unions, businessmen, members of previous governments. "We keep our hand out," he has expressed.

"I am not saying that the Government does not want to agree with the PP, I am clearly saying that it cannot because it is tied to its partners," Bendodo repeated, before stating that the support of the Executive's usual allies yesterday in Congress for the savings plan shows that there is "nothing new under the sun": "He agreed with the usual ones, with those who want to break up Spain".

He has justified that the PP chose to vote against a decree that they call "energy improvisation" because it is "loaded with frivolity", although he has shared, like some ministers of the Executive, that the winter is going to be hard.

And he has insisted on criticizing ideas such as taking off his tie, lowering or raising the heating or air conditioning a few degrees or forcing stores to turn off the windows "when there is freedom of schedule", highlighting that the new proposals that are going to be announced seek the "medium and long term".

In this regard, and asked about the "insults" of several Government ministers to Feijóo, Bendodo has said that the PP will respond "to each insult with a proposal" and has regretted that the Government has left this summer in "combat riot" to mistreat the leader of his party.

"When your main sociologist tells you that you are inevitably going to lose the elections, it means that you are going to lose the elections," said Bendodo, who links these "insults" to the fall of the PSOE in the polls and considers that strategy "wrong" .

For his part, Miguel Tellado has hoped that the new proposals that are going to be transferred to the Government "are more successful" than "all the previous ones", which "have gone to the rubbish bin without even having looked at them, without spending even a minute ".

Tellado has stated that the PP will continue to present proposals "although the government refuses to listen to them."

The Deputy Secretary for Organization has mentioned that 'Genoa 13' is preparing a technical document with specific proposals on energy saving, which will be announced in the coming weeks, focused on "how to lower the electricity bill for families, companies and guarantee the supply. That is "the real debate", he has highlighted.
