Bendodo asks him to reactivate the economy by lowering taxes and Bravo summons him to assume Feijóo's plan because "reality is not good"

MADRID, 3 Ago. (EUROPA PRESS) -

The general coordinator of the PP, Elías Bendodo, has accused this Wednesday the head of the Executive, Pedro Sánchez, of "denying reality" after the rise in unemployment in July and has warned that this is how the 2007 economic crisis began -2008.

"A summer in which employment begins to be destroyed is the prelude to a complicated autumn and winter", declared Bendodo, after the number of unemployed registered in the offices of the public employment services (former Inem) has increased by 3,230 people in July, 0.1% more than in June, although it remains below the 2.9 million unemployed, in the 2,883,812 unemployed.

In an interview on TVE, which Europa Press has collected, Bendodo has indicated that these data "concern" them because traditionally the month of July "has been a very good month" in terms of employment. "The 2007-2008 crisis began like this, with a brutal drop in job creation in the good summer months," he said.

In this sense, the leader of the PP has said that it would be "good" if the Prime Minister "does not deny reality" as, in his opinion, he is doing, alluding to his statements asking to read the latest data on the strike with "glasses different", in light of the labor reform.

The general coordinator of the PP has recognized that ministers like Nadia Calviño "are already warning that the situation can get very complicated" but Sánchez "does not want to see reality and looks the other way". "We are concerned about the situation because it is a clear message that has happened in other cycles," she warned.

At this point, he has pointed out that the "best way" to create jobs is to "reactivate the economy", with measures such as lowering taxes because in this way "more is consumed and more is collected", being able to invest "more in public services ". However, he has complained that this proposal, which is included in the PP's economic plan, has not been addressed by the Executive.

Bendodo has insisted that the PP is "concerned by this negative trend" in employment in a month that "traditionally in recent decades has been very positive" in job creation. For this reason, he has asked the Government, apart from recognizing that "there is a problem", to dedicate itself to taking measures to alleviate the situation.

In the same way, the PP Deputy Secretary of Economy, Juan Bravo, has indicated that the unemployment data reflects that "the reality of the country is not good no matter how much they want to sell good results" because if the affiliation data is analyzed " It's the first time it's been produced since 2001."

In an interview on Antena 3, collected by Europa Press, he lamented that unemployment has not decreased and there are 13 million people at risk of poverty and 3.4 million with severe material deprivation. "The employment data is somewhat disguised because we have people with the condition of discontinuous permanent", she has pointed out.

"The Government is already beginning to recognize that the economic situation is not good (...) They do not accept the proposals that we have been putting forward for some time in the PP", the person in charge of Economy of the 'popular' has settled.
