MADRID, 7 Sep. (EUROPA PRESS) -

The new State Attorney General, Álvaro García Ortiz, has tested positive for Covid-19 and will not be able to present the Annual Report corresponding to the activity of the Prosecutor's Office in 2021 at the Opening of the Judicial Year on Wednesday.

As reported by the Prosecutor's Office, the Deputy Prosecutor of the Supreme Court, Maria Ángeles Sánchez Conde, will replace him.

García Ortiz, who began his post last Monday with a visit to King Felipe VI to present him with the Memory, has mild symptoms and is doing well.
