MADRID, 26 Nov. (EUROPA PRESS) -
This week the Ministry of the Interior held the II Update Seminar on the Crime Statistical System, a fundamental indicator for decision-making, development of plans, prospective, prevention and protection of citizens' rights.
The Seminar has brought together experts from the General Directorate for Coordination and Studies, team leaders and inspectors-auditors, as well as police and civil guards specialized in this matter, as reported by the Interior in a statement.
All of them have discussed the complexity of the system, which has to adapt to the legislation on data processing and transparency, and which requires internal control as well as external supervision of the inspection to guarantee the quality and reliability of the process.
In this way, the participants have been able to exchange experiences with the ultimate goal of promoting better police action.
