The leadership of the PP insists that there will be no anti-abortion protocol in CyL and warns Vox: "If they want to leave, let them leave"

MADRID, 18 Ene. (EUROPA PRESS) -

The national leadership of the PP has insisted this Wednesday that the Government of Castilla y León is not going to implement any anti-abortion protocol as Vox maintains and has warned, in the face of threats from this party: "If they want to leave the Government of Castilla y León, let them go".

This is how sources from the leadership of the PP have spoken a day after the general secretary of Vox, Ignacio Garriga, warned that his party will review "whether or not to continue" in the Junta de Castilla y León if the agreement on the 'pro-life' protocol. Shortly after, the Vox spokesman in Congress, Iván Espinosa de los Monteros, specified that reviewing the government pact with the PP in Castilla y León does not necessarily imply breaking the regional Executive.

In 'Génova' they do not hide their discomfort at the fact that in the last five days the media focus has been focused on the conflict in Castilla y León, without Feijóo and the party being able to visualize their proposals and the electoral candidates who are submitted to the May elections.

The PP is clear that there will be no anti-abortion protocol in Castilla y León and this has been reiterated this Wednesday from Cuenta, in statements to the media, the president of the formation, Alberto Núñez Feijóo, who has stressed that the Government poses a requirement to the CyL Board that fulfills its powers and obligations for a "non-existent protocol".

"That protocol does not exist. The requirement is a gross manipulation of the facts. It is convenient not to play with whether or not a CCAA complies with the Constitution, when there are others that are diminishing the constitutional commitments with the approval of the Government, in linguistic issues, of territorial integrity, referendums, crimes of sedition or embezzlement of public funds. Spain does not deserve it," Feijóo highlighted.

Regarding the possibility of the coalition government breaking up in CyL and if the dismissal of the vice president is possible, in 'Génova' they point out that any decision in this regard corresponds to Mañueco, but they do not believe that the president of the Junta de Castilla y León He is going to take such a step, especially when that regional Executive is working, add sources close to Feijóo.

In this sense, from the leadership of the PP they emphasize that, unlike what happens with the Government of Pedro Sánchez, in Castilla y León the agenda "is not subject to what Vox says." As they insist, the Government works except for the "high-sounding statements" of its vice president, Juan García-Gallardo. "A government is not going to be broken by a press conference," the sources consulted have indicated.

In the midst of this controversy, the PP has reiterated this Wednesday its proposal that the list with the most votes should govern. It has done so after an offer from the Organization Secretary of the PSOE in Castilla y León, Ana Sánchez, demanding that Mañueco break its government pact with Vox and put a sanitary cordon on the "extreme right" in all governments, both regional as municipal.

In 'Génova' they have recalled that the PP led by Alberto Núñez Feijóo already offered Pedro Sánchez months ago to break with Podemos and help him in governance. In addition, he recalled that a similar offer was made before the inauguration of Alfonso Fernández Mañueco so that the PP would not have to govern with Vox.

The 'popular' consider that this pact so that the most voted list governs and governments do not depend on parties like Vox or Podemos must be in all of Spain and at a "global" level, not only in a specific community such as Castilla y León, they have added the consulted sources.
