The Ibex 35 has started the session this Wednesday with a fall of 0.6%, which has led the selective to stand at 7,401.03 integers at 9:01 a.m., in an environment that continues to be marked by messages from banks central to the inflation scenario and the fear of an economic recession.

In fact, investors will be attentive this day to the speeches of the president of the European Central Bank (ECB), Christine Lagarde, and her counterpart at the Federal Reserve (Fed) of the United States, Jerome Powell.

In this way, after falling 0.84% ​​yesterday, the Madrid selective began the session clinging to the psychological level of 7,400 points, with most of the values ​​in red, led by ArcelorMittal (-3, 41%), Repsol (-1.12%), Sacyr (-1.11%), Inditex (-0.9%), Grifols (-0.875) and Enagás (-0.69%).

The rest of the European stock markets also opened lower with falls of 0.9% for Frankfurt and 0.8% for Paris and London.

On the other hand, the price of a barrel of Brent quality oil, a reference for the Old Continent, stood at a price of 83 dollars, with a decrease of 1%, while Texas stood at 77 dollars, after also falling 1%.

Finally, the price of the euro against the dollar stood at 0.9553 'greenbacks', while the Spanish risk premium stood at 117 basis points, with the interest required on the ten-year bond at 3.487%.
