The Ibex 35 was trading negative in the mid-session, with a slight drop of 0.19%, which led it to remain at 8,069.70 points, on a day marked by tensions between China and the United States.

Renta 4 analysts point out that the session on Tuesday, August 2, is marked by the tour of the Speaker of the United States House of Representatives, Nancy Pelosi, through Asia-Pacific, including the possibility of a visit to Taiwan , despite the fact that China has threatened "forceful measures".
