The Ibex 35 has started the session this Tuesday with a rise of 0.7%, which has led the selective to stand at 7,560.84 integers at 9:01 a.m., on a day in which the pound rebounds after The Governor of the Bank of England, Andrew Bailey, has issued an extraordinary statement in which he indicates that the authority he presides "will not hesitate to change interest rates as much as necessary to bring inflation back to the medium-term sustainable 2% target ".

After this message, the pound advances positions until recovering the 1.0779 dollars. Between Friday and yesterday, Monday, the pound has fallen almost 8% in its cross against the dollar, going from around 1.1230 dollars per pound to yesterday's low of 1.0384 dollars.

In this way, after falling 0.99% yesterday, the Madrid selective began the session clinging to the psychological level of 7,500 points, with most of the values ​​in green, led by Sacyr (1.84 %), Arcelor Mittal (1.79%), Santander (1.6%), Repsol (1.5%), Amadeus (1.26%) and BBVA (1.22%).

The rest of the European stock markets also opened higher with increases of 0.9% for Frankfurt, 0.6% for Paris and 0.3% for London.

On the other hand, the price of a barrel of Brent quality oil, a reference for the Old Continent, stood at a price of 83 dollars, with a rise of 1%, while Texas stood at 77 dollars, after also rising 1%.

Finally, the price of the euro against the dollar stood at 0.9642 'greenbacks', while the Spanish risk premium stood at 111 basis points, with the interest required on the ten-year bond at 3.318%.
