The Ibex 35 started this Wednesday's session with a rise of 1%, which has led the selective to stand at 8,720.5 integers at 9:01 a.m., on a day marked by the central banks and the publication of the minutes of the last meeting of monetary policy of the Federal Reserve (Fed) of the United States.
In this way, after closing yesterday with a slight advance of 0.06%, the Madrid selective began the session above the psychological level of 8,700 integers, with most of the values in green.
In the early stages of this Wednesday's session, the biggest increases were scored by Iberdrola (2.31%), Acciona (1.7%), Naturgy Energy (1.52%), Sabadell (1.47%), Santander (1.46%), ArcelorMittal (1.42%) and IAG (1.26%), while on the opposite side were Rovi (-0.42%), Grifols (-0.32%), Siemens Gamesa (-0.31%) and ACS (-0.08%).
The rest of the European stock markets opened with increases of 0.7% in the case of Frankfurt and 0.6% for Paris and London.
The price of a barrel of Brent crude oil, a benchmark for Europe, stood at 111 dollars, with an increase of 0.95%, while the barrel of WTI oil, a benchmark for the US, rose 1%, to the 110 dollars.
Finally, the price of the euro against the dollar stood at 1.0687 'greenbacks'.
