The constitution of new companies fell by 10.8% in July, according to notaries

The constitution of new companies fell by 10.8% in July compared to the same month last year, to add 7,966 new companies, according to data from the General Council of Notaries released this Thursday.

Of these, companies with a founding share capital of between 3,000 and 4,000 euros reached 6,075, 8.7% less than in July 2021. Within these, the average constitution capital was 3,024 euros.

By autonomous communities, the creation of new companies only increased in July in the interannual rate in Aragón (4.3%), the Balearic Islands (2.7%) and Cantabria (1.3%).

On the contrary, it decreased in the remaining 14 regions, especially in La Rioja (-55.6%), Navarra (-47.4%), Extremadura (-27.5%) and the Basque Country (-21.8%). .
