The Commissioner for the Tobacco Market approves the General Training Strategy

The Commissioner for the Tobacco Market approves the General Training Strategy, which will come into effect this Thursday, according to the Official State Gazette (BOE).

Said strategy constitutes the general framework and main instrument for the subsequent planning, implementation and evaluation of the training activities organized by the Commissioner for the Tobacco Market.

Its objectives are: to improve the quality of the public service provided to citizens and tobacco market operators, to reinforce the training, skills, knowledge and training of public employees of the Tobacco Market Commissioner, to foster collaboration and cooperation with other authorities and public administrations, and especially with the fiscal protection bodies of the State and its security forces and bodies, and effectively transfer information and specialized knowledge to tobacco market operators to facilitate the exercise of their rights and compliance with obligations.

The training actions and programs will be aimed at one of the following groups: public employees of the Tobacco Market Commissioner, public employees of other administrations who carry out activities related to the scope of the Tobacco Market Commissioner's powers, and especially with the State fiscal protection bodies and their security forces and bodies and owners of tobacco outlets and State stamps, points of sale with a surcharge and other tobacco market operators.

The General Training Strategy will be developed each year in the corresponding Annual Training Plan, which will define its content, objectives and recipients through the different actions and training programs that will be developed by the Commissioner for the Tobacco Market.
