The National Securities Market Commission (CNMV) has warned that DT Securities and KuCoin are entities that are providing investment services without authorization to carry out this activity.
On the one hand, it has warned that MEK Global Limited (kucoin.com), a cryptocurrency trading platform, is not authorized to provide investment services or carry out activities reserved for collective investment institutions.
Likewise, the supervisor has warned that DT Securities, which operates under the domain dtsecurities.net, is not related to DT Securities AG, which was withdrawn on July 20, 2009 as an investment services company from the European Economic Area in free provision , and is also not authorized to provide investment services.
"The CNMV makes it clear that these companies are not registered in the corresponding registry of this Commission and, therefore, are not authorized to provide investment services or other activities subject to the supervision of the CNMV", the supervisor has warned.
The CNMV's warnings about 'financial bars' can be consulted on its website and investors can direct their queries to the investor service number 900 535 015, as well as through the query form.
In addition, the CNMV website offers a search engine for entities warned and a decalogue of tips for investors to avoid 'financial beach bars'.
