MADRID, 9 Ago. (EUROPA PRESS) –

Solidarity Day, the non-profit association of Naturgy employees, has signed a collaboration agreement with the Trilema Foundation to grant scholarships to 682 young people from Trilema schools with limited economic resources or in a situation of vulnerability and with excellent academic performance, according to reported in a statement.

The scholarships will be used for dining services, purchase of books and school supplies, and study aid. The agreement is part of the ‘Energy that gives life’ project and will be in force until the end of the next school year. The beneficiaries will be male and female students, from the infant stage to the training cycle, from the seven Trilema schools, located in Madrid, Soria, Zamora and Valencia, who belong to households with high socioeconomic vulnerability.

“In our association of Naturgy employees we seek to facilitate access to education as a fundamental means for children and young people to build a better future, especially necessary after the complicated stage that we have all had to live through”, indicated the president of Dia Solidarity, Ester Seville.

For her part, the president of the Trilema Foundation, Carmen Pellicer, stressed that, through this collaboration, it is hoped that the difficult situation in which some families in the centers find themselves will be alleviated.

This agreement is an extension of the collaboration that both institutions have had since 2020 to support access to education and equal opportunities for families whose socioeconomic situation has been harmed in the context of the health emergency caused by the Covid-19 pandemic. 19.
