Renfe includes a new extra in the tickets to delay the time of the trip on the same day

Renfe has introduced a new complement, the 'Puente AVE', in its commercial offer of High Speed ​​and Long Distance tickets (AVE, Alvia, Euromed and Intercity), which allows the traveler to advance or delay the time on the same day of the trip.

The new AVE Bridge is available from this Thursday on all AVE and Long Distance trains, taking advantage of the high frequency on some of its routes, such as the Madrid-Barcelona route, which offers up to 50 daily circulations (25 in each direction), where a traveler could change his train to any of these 25 trains.

The AVE Bridge supplement is included in the 'Prémium' ticket, although it can be purchased for an additional 5 euros on the 'Choose' ticket, and the train can be changed digitally through the Renfe app and on its website or in person at station ticket offices and last minute points.

Renfe assures that Renfe's new commercial structure aims to improve all 'Elige' tickets, both 'Standard' and 'Comfort', which allow free change, eliminate the 20% change fee that applied until now, and it can be extended to unlimited changes, paying the difference in price and adding a supplement for 5 euros.

The 'Choose' tickets, which represent the best option to travel at the best price with greater flexibility, will continue to be partially refundable, with refunds of 70% of the amount in the event of cancellation.

On the other hand, Renfe maintains and offers the 'Basic' ticket as the simplest travel alternative, with cheaper prices, but which does not allow changes or is refundable.

For their part, customers with a 'Prémium' ticket on AVE and Euromed trains can obtain up to 100% reimbursement and unlimited free changes. They also maintain their traditional attributes such as access to club lounges, extra-large seats in cars with up to 60% fewer passengers, and free on-board dining.
