Reguilón: "I'm a professional and I didn't hesitate to sign for Atlético"

Full-back Sergio Reguilón was convinced that the opinion of the Atlético de Madrid fans "will change" due to his past at Real Madrid and stated that he did not hesitate to sign for his new team in his official presentation as a mattress player until the end season loan from Tottenham Hotspur.

"I am a professional and I have no doubts about the club that Atlético is. It was all super simple. If I put myself in the shoes of a fan, you understand certain comments, but if you look at them with perspective we are all in the same 'boat'. With him time everything will pass. This is how Sergio Reguilón expressed himself at the presentation ceremony with Atlético, held at the Cívitas Metropolitano stadium in Madrid and in which he was accompanied by the president of the rojiblanca entity, Enrique Cerezo, and the former Atlético international Roberto Fresnedoso.

For his part, Roberto Fresnedoso stressed that "it is a pride" that Reguilón has accepted the offer to play for Atlético. "In this club you will feel at home. Reguilón did not hide his happiness for his signing for Atlético, a possibility that he discussed on several occasions with his teammate on the Spanish team and now on the Madrid team Koke Resurrection.
