Podemos sees a "lesson in dignity" for Ayuso, the protests at the UCM and the critical discourse of a student

MADRID, 24 Ene. (EUROPA PRESS) -

Podemos has described the president of the Community of Madrid, Isabel Díaz Ayuso, as a "lesson in dignity", the speech of the student with the highest record in Audiovisual Communication critical of her and the student protest outside the act that recognized her as an illustrious alumni of the Complutense University of Madrid (UCM).

"Today this Complutense student and those who were demonstrating outside have given Isabel Díaz Ayuso a lesson in dignity," said the state co-spokesperson for the formation, Isa Serra, on Twitter to also share an extract of this student's intervention .

Her counterpart in the party and United We Can candidate for the regional elections in May, Alejandra Jacinto, has also pointed out in networks that this student has given a voice to the entire university community. "Ayuso is non grata at a university to which she cuts 60 million euros while opening private universities", she has sentenced.

The act of recognition of the president of the Community ended with tension when the president was leaving the Information Sciences building and a group of students tried to jump the police cordon to rebuke her.

'Ayuso resignation', 'Freedom is caring' or 'Ayuso assassin' have been some of the proclamations launched by the protesters who tried to get closer to the leader as she left the UCM escorted by the National Police and surrounded by a cloud of journalists.

The student with the best record of her promotion, Elisa Lozano, has maintained that the Complutense is "incredible" and that it is made up of her classmates "who are out there demonstrating." Thus, she has maintained that she wants more names to be given to them because they are "truly illustrious" and she has had recognition for her teachers. "Ayuso 'pepera' the illustrious are out", she has concluded.
