The Minister of Finance and Public Function, María Jesús Montero, has defended this Wednesday, in a response to the deputy of Teruel Exists, the Government's idea that some public employees can carry out up to 90% of teleworking per month in areas at risk of depopulation with difficult coverage.

He said this during the control session of the Government in Congress, responding to a question from the parliamentarian of Teruel Existen, Tomás Guitarte, who has asked Montero to know the actions of the Executive to promote remote work in the public sector in the areas rural areas to combat depopulation.

In this context, Minister Montero has appealed to have a "comprehensive view" and has claimed the teleworking plan for civil servants in which the Executive is working, which among other things, includes the possibility that public employees can work remotely. distance up to 90% per month in these areas.
