Isabel Rodríguez says that "there is no discomfort" with Puig but stresses that the Government is going to "deepen" its project

MADRID, 28 Sep. (EUROPA PRESS) -

The Minister of Territorial Policy and Government Spokesperson, Isabel Rodríguez, has assured today that "there is no discomfort" with the Valencian President Ximo Puig in the Government after announcing a deflation of the personal income tax rate for incomes below 60,000 euros. But she has specified that the Executive projected her and will continue to "deepen" into him. Regarding the negotiation of the budgets with Podemos, she has been convinced that they will reach an agreement.

"There is no discomfort. The Government is very clear about its project", the Government spokesperson responded to journalists after attending a New Economy Forum Breakfast, when they asked her if there was discomfort with the Valencian president .

When asked if Ximo Puig's decision breaks the Government's strategy, Isabel Rodríguez has thrown balls away stating that "the Government has a very clear roadmap", which is, she has reiterated, to assist families, companies, SMEs and the self-employed and that those who have the most contribute new levies on banking and energy.

And he has argued that the philosophy of this Government, which is the "classical of social democracy", is the one that "international organizations claim". He believes that in addition to conviction, as is the case with the PSOE, they also do it because they consider that "it is the most effective way to get out of this crisis" without there being economic and financial consequences that could later be complicated to solve.

That said, the Spokesperson has insisted that the Government is going to continue "deepening" in a project that they are going to present in "a few hours", in reference to the fiscal plan that María Jesús Montero announced on Monday.

Isabel Rodríguez has also spoken about the words of the Second Vice President of the Government, Yolanda Díaz, who has stated that they are far from reaching an agreement to carry out the 2023 General State Budgets. "We will reach an agreement as we have done so far ", has sentenced.
