Gamarra recommends that the PSOE submit to its 'antibulos' committee: "I'm sure they would burst the truth machine"

He says that he is "amused" by the initiative because Sánchez has "a certain allergy to the truth" and carries a "collection of lies" on his back.

MADRID, 17 Ene. (EUROPA PRESS) -

The general secretary of the PP, Cuca Gamarra, has recommended this Wednesday to the PSOE to submit to the committee to "deny hoaxes" that it has announced and has been convinced that "the truth machine would burst". Thus, he has assured that the head of the Executive, Pedro Sánchez, is characterized by "a certain allergy to the truth" and has a "collection of lies", such as that "he would not govern with Podemos", "he would not agree with Bildu" or would bring Spain to the former president of the Generalitat Carles Puigdemont.

This is how Gamarra pronounced when asked how he values this proposal announced a few days ago by the PSOE Organization Secretary, Santos Cerdán, on the creation of a "committee against right-wing disinformation" with the aim of "disproving the hoaxes" which, in his opinion, are spread by the PP and Vox and which may affect the electoral campaign.

In an interview on Telecinco, which has been collected by Europa Press, Gamarra has confessed that he has been "very amused by this initiative of the Socialist Party". "I think that the first one who would have to submit to that hoax committee would be himself because they are absolute specialists in it," he added.

As an example of this, he has cited the open controversy in Castilla y León after Vox's statements on the measures in pregnancies because the president of Castilla y León himself, Alfonso Fernández Mañueco, has said "this is false, the protocol does not exist and it is not going to do" but the Government "continues to stretch it" and "continues to give it truthfulness". "This would be the first hoax in this regard," he emphasized.

That said, Gamarra has recommended to the Socialists that they apply that committee to themselves. "I would invite them to submit themselves to the truth machine. I'm sure they burst it because if the Government and Pedro Sánchez are characterized by something, it is by a certain allergy to the truth," he said.

At this point, he has stressed that the head of the Executive is doing "the opposite of what he promised the Spaniards that he was going to do and has warned that the Spaniards are not going to get "amnesia" and they are not going to forget about his promises such as that he would not govern with Podemos, would not agree with Bildu or would bring the former president of the Generalitat Carles Puigdemont to Spain.

"With this collection of lies, it is very difficult for them to try to convince the Spanish through an anti-bullying committee that they always tell the truth because I believe that this does not pass the cotton test," concluded the spokesperson for the Popular Group in the Congress.
