SaaS fintech service provider Toqio has closed a 'Series A' investment round of €18.7 million, which has been led by AlbionVC and in which Aldea Ventures, previous investors Seaya, Speedinvest, SIX FinTech Ventures have participated. and various 'angel investors', such as the director of Endeavor Spain Leandro Sigman.

As reported by Toqio, the round is completed with a grant of 1.3 million euros from the Center for Industrial Technological Development (CDTI), dependent on the Ministry of Science and Innovation of the Government of Spain.

The company allows all types of businesses, not just banks, to launch integrated financial solutions for their own businesses or for their clients in a matter of days, eliminating the need to build and manage complex software through its SaaS platform and its 'market place' Some Toqio clients are Crealsa, Paysme, and MovePay.

Following the investment raised, Toqio aspires to become "the trusted platform to create new fintech solutions", helping companies in the sector to be more accessible through its low-code platform, designed to build and launch new financial and banking solutions quickly and easily.

With headquarters in London and offices in Madrid and Nairobi, Toqio has increased its team from 17 to 100 people in 18 months and has recently expanded its services in the Spanish market.

The CEO and co-founder of Toqio, Eduardo Martínez García, has advanced that the company's team is growing rapidly and, having entered the Spanish market, intends to broaden its focus in Europe by expanding in France and Germany.

"This new round of financing will allow us to continue evolving so that our vision becomes a reality: we want to be the first fintech SaaS platform, giving our clients the opportunity to create, customize and launch bank-grade financial digital solutions, enriched by our 'marketplace' of reputable and trustworthy 'partners'", he pointed out.
