The president of the PP, Alberto Núñez Feijóo, has criticized the "disappointing and scant" reduction in taxes for the middle and lower classes included in the fiscal proposal presented by the Government of Pedro Sánchez and has complained that this reduction will not affect to the 2022 financial year, despite the "difficulty" of citizens this year due to high inflation.
"This proposal does not have the slightest sensitivity with the medium and low incomes, to which they have said 'no' to the tax reduction in this year 2022", Feijóo assured from Galicia - where he has met with the Cooperativa de Armadores de Pesca del Puerto de Vigo--, shortly after knowing the tax announcements made by the Minister of Finance, María Jesús Montero.
The head of the opposition has indicated that his party will pronounce itself "in detail" when it thoroughly analyzes the content of the Government's measures to "not improvise", but has already pointed out that the PP sees the reduction in taxes that it collects as "disappointing" for the middle and lower classes.
