ERC assures that the eventual departure of Junts from the Catalan Government will not affect its relationship with the PSOE

The ERC spokesman in Congress, Gabriel Rufián, assured this Tuesday that Junts' eventual departure from the Catalan Executive will not affect his relations with the PSOE in the Lower House.

This has been the only reference that Rufián has made to Junts in the press conference that he has offered before the meeting of the Board of Spokespersons of the Lower House.

Asked if his relations with the Socialists will be conditioned by a possible rupture of the coalition Executive that ERC still has with Junts, Rufián has limited himself to answering with a brief "no".

And, later, he refused to say anything more about the former convergents, with his usual argument that the Catalans do not want to see these two parties talking about themselves all the time. "I put myself in the place of someone in Catalonia who is worried about unemployment or inflation and who always sees them talking about themselves and it scares me", he commented.
