Carrizosa, about Bal: "Those who want to be Cs candidates, submit to the primaries"

He says that Cs will amend the Budgets of the Generalitat for 2023

The leader of Cs in Catalonia, Carlos Carrizosa, has said that "those who want to be Cs candidates for the Presidency of the Government, who submit to the primaries when it comes to it", referring to the intention of the party's deputy secretary general and deputy spokesperson in Congress, Edmundo Bal, to present his candidacy to lead Cs.

This has been pointed out this Sunday in statements to journalists in El Prat de Llobregat (Barcelona), in which he has called for "there to be unity" within the training.

He has urged the current party leader, Inés Arrimadas, Bal and whoever wants to run for the party leadership to "close a unity candidacy to lead Cs all united."

He has advocated so that "when the time comes to stand for national elections, that it be the militants who decide who will be the people who represent Cs."

Asked if he has discussed it with Bal and Arrimadas, he replied that he has conveyed to both his desire that they form a unitary candidacy, and has stressed that he wants both to be on the board.

Carrizosa has regretted that in the first week of December Catalonia continues without a budget project for 2023 and has accused the Government of being "absolutely paralyzed" in the negotiations.

For him, if the Government is holding out, it is "based on agreements in the offices with the PSC", and he believes that this is demonstrated by the statements of the ERC spokesman in Congress, Gabriel Rufián, in which he said that they have used the vote to the project of the PGE as a lever of force so that the sedition is eliminated.

Faced with this diagnosis, he has asserted that Cs "does not bring to their pacts for the budgets neither armchairs nor seditions" as a bargaining chip, and has affirmed that what they will bring are amendments to the Catalan accounts.
