The president of BBVA, Carlos Torres Vila, has encouraged the group's employees to reflect on the corporate values and the future of the bank, in a day in which he has tried to reinforce the pride of belonging of the staff.
As reported by the entity, BBVA has held the fifth edition of 'Values Day' in BBVA City, a day in which the workforce reflects and works on the purpose of the bank and the corporate values 'The customer comes first', ' We think big' and 'We are one team'.
The annual meeting has brought together more than 110,000 bank employees in different countries, in digital and face-to-face format. "BBVA has 165 years of history. We have to be very proud of that past and be aware that we have a brilliant present and future," said Carlos Torres during the inauguration of the activity.
This year's dynamics have been focused on the pride of belonging and making the entire staff participate in their importance in the bank's gear. Thus, the workshops have reflected on the present, past and future of BBVA, giving prominence to people and teams, and during the talks topics such as professional growth, talent or team spirit have been discussed.
"This day helps us to reflect on the meaning of values and feel that collectively we are behind something great," said Carlos Torres Vila, who also highlighted the role of the team, situated in the bank's strategy.
