Bolaños rejects the "episodes of verbal and physical violence" against Ayuso at the UCM: "I am not a supporter of escraches"

MADRID, 25 Ene. (EUROPA PRESS) -

The Minister of the Presidency, Relations with the Courts and Democratic Memory, Félix Bolaños, has criticized the "episodes of verbal and physical violence" suffered this Tuesday by the president of the Community of Madrid, Isabel Díaz Ayuso, at the Complutense University of Madrid (UCM), although he has added that the head of the Executive, Pedro Sánchez, is also booed at various events he attends.

This is how Bolaños has pronounced himself at an informative breakfast of Europa Press, after his government partner, the Minister of Universities, Joan Subirats, criticized the distinction from the Complutense to Ayuso, seeing the protest that was organized against her at the gates as normal of the University.

"I do not like that there are episodes of verbal or physical violence, inconsideration or insults. They will not find me there," said Bolaños, who has recognized his "quite ideological differences" with Ayuso, but is not "a supporter of any type of escrache, insults or disrespect to anyone".

Of course, he also wanted to highlight that these events "have also suffered" from other people in the Government, such as Sánchez himself and several ministers, in acts where the presence of the Executive is booed.

For this reason, he has called for "debating normally" away from this lack of respect, criticizing the alternatives of the one in front, but "it must always be done with respect."
