Bolaños places the PP in an "improper verbal extremism" and warns against "No to everything"

MADRID, 8 Ago. (EUROPA PRESS) -

The Minister of the Presidency, Relations with the Courts and Democratic Memory, Félix Bolaños, places the PP in an "inappropriate verbal extremism" of its trajectory, something that he attributes to the polarization of politics, and maintains that "no to everything" is more "harmful" to the functioning of democracy than political fragmentation.

"Because it is not enough to proclaim a sense of state," he stresses, stressing that one must act "according to that obligation," whether he governs or is in opposition.

In an article in the magazine Temas, directed by the socialist sociologist José Félix Tezanos, also president of the CIS, the head of the Presidency rejects that the fragmentation of Parliament is presented as a negative phenomenon or as a matter of arithmetic, and believes that the possibility reaching agreements is part of the richness of the democratic system".

PARTNERS DO HAVE A SENSE OF RESPONSIBILITY

"The political forces that, in a timely or stable manner, have supported the Executive's initiatives have shown a great sense of responsibility," he says. "But this is not the case with the main opposition party, whose destructive attitude shows that they are not they have a country project".

In this key, the minister points out that to guarantee the governance and stability of the country, it is also necessary to work "deeply" to process and approve laws. This role, according to Bolaños, does not fall solely on the Executive or the groups that support it, but also belongs to the set of political forces.

For this reason, he has warned that describing the agreements that are adopted as "surrender" "demonstrates hypocrisy and short sightedness." Thus, he has stressed that the system is designed so that the political forces agree and has accused those who "exclude themselves" of "demonstrating that their partisan interests are above the general interest."
