Bolaños does not believe the PP's offer of dialogue and accuses him of "toxic opposition"

MADRID, 26 Ago. (EUROPA PRESS) -

The Minister of the Presidency, Relations with the Courts and Democratic Memory, Félix Bolaños, has stated that the Government does not believe in the PP's new offer of dialogue after the approval of the decree law on energy measures in Congress and accuses the 'popular ' of exercising a "toxic opposition".

This has been transferred by Bolaños in statements to the media after a visit to the exhibition 'Germaine Krull. Chronicle of an exile' at the National Museum of Romanticism, where he recalled that the Executive had already met twice with the parliamentary groups before approving the decree law to discuss and weigh proposals, at which time Alberto Núñez Feijóo's party made "zero proposals".

In this sense, he has challenged the president of the PP to "look the citizens in the eye" and to explain to them "why he does not want there to be free transport passes, scholarships for students who need them most or protection for women".

Likewise, the Minister of the Presidency recalled that the Executive will continue to pass laws "seeking agreements with those who want to improve the lives of citizens" and that "fortunately" there is a large majority in Congress that "does work" to help those with "more difficulties" and the middle classes.

For its part, the PP maintained its willingness this Friday to resume negotiations on state issues with the government, although the main opposition party believes that it would be easier to resume dialogue if Pedro Sánchez does not throw his proposals "into the garbage can." ".

Asked about the contingency plan for new energy saving measures planned for the winter, Félix Bolaños assured that they are working to achieve a plan with "dialogued and meaningful" measures.

In addition, he has transferred that they will be measures "almost identical" to those approved in Germany or France, where, as he has said, "they have not given rise to any debate" because "they do not have such a toxic opposition as the PP." "What is not understood is how there can be a right that votes against measures that are approved in all countries without any debate," Bolaños has disfigured.

Likewise, the minister has clarified that these measures that are being prepared will try to affect "as little as possible" the lives of citizens and companies, while at the same time he has underlined the "common sense" of these proposals.
