The general coordinator of the PP, Elías Bendodo, has assured this Monday that "sooner rather than later" the leader of the PP, Alberto Núñez Feijóo, will have to get Spain out of the economic crisis as José María Aznar or Mariano Rajoy did in the past, and has warned the chief executive, Pedro Sánchez, that "when you get into the trench, you don't get out of it anymore".

"One can defend oneself against the opponent's fire for a time, but from friendly fire, you don't come out alive, it ends up devouring you. And that's what happens to Pedro Sánchez, he has entered the trench, he has the opposing fire to defend himself against but he has friendly fire against him, his own government. It's very difficult for him to get out of there," he warned.

This has been pronounced in the presentation of the conference of the general secretary of the PP of Madrid, Alfonso Serrano, organized by the New Economy Forum, which was attended by the president of the Community of Madrid, Isabel Díaz Ayuso, and the mayor of the capital , José Luis Martínez-Almeida, among others.

The 'number three' of the PP has also pointed out that politicians should hit the streets because if the connection with citizens is lost, a politician "has an expiration date." "If you can't go out on the street, as happens to President Sánchez, you can't expect them to vote for you later," he said.

In addition, Bendodo has assured that the PP is a party that "was born to defend the Constitution" against "threats that try to erode" the country and its institutions. After the good Andalusian result, with a comfortable absolute majority, he has defended continuing to dialogue with everyone.

"Absolute majorities are useful when you don't have to use them. Therefore, you have to keep talking, dialoguing, agreeing with everyone and talking to people," he said, to warn that absolute majorities "are lost when you think you have absolute majority".

The general coordinator of the PP has also indicated that his party has shown by governing autonomies such as Andalusia or Madrid that it can manage "public services much better" than the left, which has "dropped the flags of Health, education and social policy , which were three frauds", as he added.

Bendodo has pointed out that it is now "fashionable to talk about styles", alluding to the comparison these days between Isabel Díaz Ayuso and Juanma Moreno, and has stressed that both "may sound different" but in "essence they are exactly the same".
