BBVA increases its October dividend by 50%, up to 12 euro cents per share

MADRID, 29 Sep. (EUROPA PRESS) -

BBVA has increased its October dividend by 50%, to 12 euro cents per share, as reported by the entity to the National Securities Market Commission (CNMV) on Thursday.

Specifically, BBVA shareholders will receive an interim cash dividend for the 2022 financial year on October 11 for a gross amount of 12 euro cents per share, 50% more than the 8 cents paid in October 2021.

"The good results of the entity in the first half of the year support this," the group highlighted.

In November 2021, BBVA improved its shareholder remuneration policy by raising the 'payout' to 40%-50% of profit, from the previous range of 35%-40%.

The implementation of this policy is carried out through two cash payments (one on account and one complementary), which may be combined with share repurchases.
