Baldoví does not rule out recovering Oltra for the Generalitat if Compromís returns to govern

MADRID, 4 Oct. (EUROPA PRESS) -

The Compromís deputy in Congress, Joan Baldoví, has left the door open this Tuesday to recover the leader of his formation, Mónica Oltra, for the Valencian Generalitat if his organization manages to continue governing in that community after the elections next month May.

Baldoví, who is going to present himself to the primaries to be a candidate for the Presidency of the Generalitat, has recalled that Oltra's political future will depend on how his judicial journey ends. The former vice president of the Generalitat resigned last June after being charged with an alleged crime of covering up the sexual abuse of her ex-husband to a minor under guardianship.

Thus, he has explained that he, as a candidate in the primaries, could recover Oltra but has implied that, given the slowness of Justice, that does not seem plausible. Likewise, he has recalled that, if the coalition government is repeated after the regional ones, the people who make up that executive will have to emerge from the agreement between the leaderships of the respective parties.

Likewise, he has taken advantage of his appearance to show his desire that "the judge be very meticulous" and that after the trial "what has to come out comes out", given that up to "thirteen people have said that there was nothing" and that the The prosecution maintains that there is "no indication" that Oltra was involved in a cover-up.

"I am sure that this will end with the file of the case, as it already happened with the same judge in the first instance", he concluded.
