Aedas Homes invests 300 million euros in land to build 4,100 homes

Aedas Homes bought several pieces of land worth 300 million euros in its last fiscal year, which ended on March 31, which means breaking a new investment record for the property developer, with the aim of developing 4,101 homes.

This land investment figure also exceeds the target set in its 2021-2025 business plan by 24%, with 98% being finalist land, that is, suitable for immediate enhancement, as reported in a statement .

Likewise, two thirds of the land acquired is concentrated in the five main residential markets in Spain, which are currently Madrid, Barcelona, ​​Malaga, Alicante and Valencia.

The Madrid region, specifically, accounted for 36% of the total investment undertaken by the company in the last fiscal year, which represents more than 109 million euros in new land in the Community of Madrid, which will allow it to develop more than 1,000 new homes.

After the Madrid region, the investment made by the company in the operations carried out in the Levante-Baleares and Catalonia-Aragón territorial divisions also stands out, with 20% and 18% of the total investment, respectively.

The new investments allow the developer to have a total land bank to develop 17,000 homes, which represents a 10% increase in the portfolio compared to March 2021, when this bank had 5,484 units.

"In a much more competitive environment, only the maximum involvement and efficiency of the team of people who participate in the investment, allows reaching the level of 750 analyzed operations, 46 of them invested (which means a new investment materialized every eight days) for more than 100 plots", says the general director of Strategy, Investments and Alternative Developments of Aedas Homes, Sergio Gálvez.
