Adecco is looking for 1,500 workers throughout Spain for immediate incorporation into the logistics sector

Adecco, the personnel recruitment and selection consultancy, is looking for 1,500 workers for the logistics sector throughout Spain, with forklift operator, warehouse attendant and shipment preparer being the most in-demand positions, for immediate incorporation.

Barcelona, ​​Castellón, Tarragona, Madrid and Toledo are the provinces that concentrate the most demand in this field, although the offers are distributed throughout the Spanish geography, as reported by Adecco, which has opened a specific section for these places on its website.

This demand for employment occurs at a time when the growth of electronic commerce is significantly boosting the transport and logistics sector, which represents 7.9% of Spanish GDP and close to one million jobs.

During the month of June, hiring in the logistics and transport sector has grown and 109,842 new employment contracts have been registered in the sector, 1.59% more than in May.

The mission of the employees in the forklift offers will be the transport of products with the forklift, loading and unloading of merchandise and its location, control and preparation of orders with delivery notes, point references, location of merchandise on shelves and other tasks of warehouse support.

The profiles selected for the position of warehouse attendant will be in charge of the picking-packing, strapping, palletizing, packaging, labeling and packaging process, the reception of merchandise and stock control, and the loading and unloading of merchandise for its subsequent location.

As an order picker, the functions of the employees will be the preparation of orders, in many cases with radio frequency, the loading, unloading and location of merchandise, palletizing and shrink-wrapping.

People who want to access these offers must have a school degree and availability for immediate incorporation. In the case of forklift operators, it is essential to have a valid forklift license, while in other positions it will be favorably valued, as well as previous experience in similar positions, computer skills and communication skills.
