The start-up companies to recover their pre-crisis level in June

After a two-month fall in march and April, and a rebound of 59.6% (revised figure) in may, the start-up business grew "strongly" in all areas of activity, reports the national Institute of statistics (Insee) on Wednesday. The business creations have increased significantly in June (+38,2%) after their strong rebound in the month of may, and returned to their pre-crisis level.

"The largest increase concerned the activities of accommodation and food (+75,3%), mainly in the activities of fast food", then come the activities of transportation and storage, primarily in the home delivery, explains Insee.

More than 75 000 companies created in the last month

The creations of companies have increased more strongly than those of micro-enterprises, with an increase from 43.2% for the first against 33.6% for the seconds.
