1. How to benefit from the CPF?

The first step is to register on moncompteformation.gouv.fr before you even choose a training program. Thanks to your social security number, the system will automatically calculate the number of hours of training that you capitaliserez each year, from march 2016. In the meantime, the employees and the job seekers can register on their behalf for the hours of DIF they have not used before January 2015.

2. What if I do not know the number of hours of DIF that I have left?

This issue is still quite thorny to number of employees and job applicants. In fact, the last employer was supposed to pass the remaining hours of DIF for each employee or applicant for employment, before January 31, 2015, to register it on his account CPF. In the CDI, the employees were accumulating 20 hours of DIF per year, up to 120 hours. If you have worked in CSD, entitlement is made after the 4th month of the contract. As for jobseekers, the minister of Labour announced last February that each of them would be entitled to 100 hours of office on their personal account of training. Since, it is not yet known how this promise can be held.

3. How to choose a training?

once you register on the site and your number of hours of DIF is known, you can see the courses now available through the CPF. The principle: they must be sanctioned certifying - degree or vocational qualifications. The easiest way is to make the recherchedirectement on the site.

4. Who to contact to finance his training?

Still a pretty complicated question to this day. Employees must turn "naturally" to their employer, at least, that's what they advise to do. Problem: "employers find themselves limited in the explanations and for the most part unable to accompany him simply and clearly to their employees in this change. 5. What are the courses that have the highest chance of being funded?

The first statistics available on the CPF that have received a funding agreement reveal strong trends: these are the validations of professional experience (VAE) and language courses, preparing you for the Toeic, and to a lesser extent, the Bulats, language tests introduced recently in the CPF, which have received the most requests and applications... accepted. Uniformation, the OPCA in the social sector, has accepted the funding of 145 cases of CPF, including 104 APL and languages, AFDAS 115 language courses and 27 EAB out of a total ofe 197 shares (as of may 21, 2015).

But the CPF may also be useful to complete an individual training leave (CIF), when funding is insufficient. Condition: your training project to be successful, of course, to a degree, present in the formations list "CPF". The procedure is the same as for an application of ICF, you need to register on the site anymore moncompteformation.gouv.fr. The Fongecif or Opacif will mount the folder by adding your hours of CPF. "However, we should not prevent them from making a request to the CIF, even if it does not meet the criteria of the CPF," says a counsellor. This is a plus, but not mandatory.

6. What if the training that I want to follow is not in the list?

choose another in the same domain but eligible for the CPF, check to see if it is likely to be funded later, request that the business finance as part of its training plan, or request an individual leave of training. Each professional branch (the work is still ongoing for many of them) selects the courses they wish to see accessible by the CPF, and a commission (the Copanef) decides on the inscription or not. Again, disappointment may be waiting for you.
