The increase of the unemployment rate in Germany in June is not too bad

The rate of unemployment in Germany in June, much less increase than had been feared. According to the federal employment agency, there were 69.000 unemployed, but the analysts were going out at 120,000.

The unemployment rate in Germany is now at a level of 6.4 per cent. Last month was one percentage point lower.

The labour office said, however, that the pressure on the employment of the coronacrisis is still great, and that's a lot of work with reduced working hours.

The economic institute ifo predicts, meanwhile, that the German economy over the next two quarters, you will gradually recover from the attack by the coronacrisis and is based on a growth rate of 6.9 per cent in the third and 3.8 percent in the fourth quarter of the year.
