The application of the Medef has been heard. Using 4 000 euros to hire a young person at the back will ultimately reach up to a salary of two times the Minimum wage, a-t we learned Tuesday from union sources, after a meeting at the ministry of Labour on this theme.

Initially, it had to be limited to wages 1.6 times the Minimum wage, but the Medef had ruled that it would exclude the young, the more skilled wage employment can be higher. This helps - technically "compensation contributions" - shall be paid quarterly in increments of 1,000 euros and may be affected for the hiring of a young person under 25 years of age in CDI or CDD of at least three months, according to the sources. With this threshold statement, it should concern the vast majority of young people employed.

It will last a maximum of one year, or 4000 euros for a CDI or a CDD of at least one year. It will affect all new hires that will take place within six months after the entry into force of the device, probably in September.

According to the sources, the ministry has outlined a budget of 1.2 billion euros for the operation and tablerait about 600 000 new hires.
