PVT Canada, internship, LIFE : the season 2020 starts December 9,

because of its flexibility, the PVT is, without doubt, the licence and the "star" of the EIC. This visa allows you to organize your stay at its own discretion, to alternate between visiting the country and small - or long - jobs (the work permit of the PVT, said "open", allows you to fill almost any position in Canada), all for a duration of maximum 24 months. Open to all, regardless of your profile and situation (no need to get a job offer beforehand), the PVT, however, has a - big - drawback : to use it, it's better to have a good star. For other permits CIS, the competition is much less harsh - but the eligibility criteria are made more stringent. A maximum duration of twelve months, this permit does not authorize work for a single employer. 4250 young people will be able to take advantage of this visa in the year 2020.

The allowed Young professionals (known as JP) allows its recipients to go to Canada to acquire a experience of 24 months in their field of expertise. The terms and conditions ? Find an offer in connection with his studies or his career (no conversion possible). The position must also be part of the categories 0, A or B of the national occupational Classification (NOC). It should be noted that a job classified under skill level C could be accepted if the applicant attached to his application for a work permit, a diploma, certificate or degree post-secondary studies. Attention : as for the co-op, the JP is a work permit linked to a particular employer. For 2020, the permit quota JP has been fixed to 2200 seats.

Finally, the international corporate Volunteer (VIE), which is a sub-category of the JP, will be opened up to 450 applicants next year. This visa provides the opportunity for 18-28 year-old to perform a mission (be it scientific, technical, commercial, or humanitarian) in a French company abroad. For the answer, the applicant must have found an employer willing to hire them (the offers are displayed on the platform civiweb.fr) and have obtained a letter of acceptance on the part of Business France, the agency that manages the device. The LIFE lasts between 6 and 24 months and can be renewed once for a maximum of two years.
