TV-tip that takes you on holiday

22. July will always be a special day. Today is nine years since the terror attack that shook Norway and cost us 77 human lives. Every year we hear "Never more 22. July". We collect ourselves around the words democracy, openness and diversity.

But what really has this meant for the past nine years?

In the aftermath of the 22. July Norway increased preparedness. This is good, as it protects the community further. An increased readiness is an important part of the way to Never more 22. July, but it is first and foremost the attitudes we most actively have to fight against, because 22. July was a racist attack.

Facebook need to address the problems Head

These attitudes exist yet in our society, this hatred living in our society, our Norway and in the whole world. If we do not, that these right-wing extremist attitudes exist, we will never forward to the answer about what "Never more 22. July" means.

How can we fight against something many don't yet admits?

We see that the right-wing extremist attitudes still exist. Høyreekstremismen is yet on gaining momentum. Recently in the USA where people are killed because they have a different skin color.

the terrorist Attack in Norway last year shows that we still have a long way to go. Many of these attitudes are subtle in our society, and it is therefore important that we as citizens, are observant. It is not just the politicians, we all have a shared responsibility to ensure that it does not grow more right-wing extremists in our society.

do you Think often that you could have been killed 22. July? Comment

Attack against the the government district and on Utøya island, was not a random attack. It was an attack against the democratic and diverse Norway. A Norway where freedom of expression is strong and democratic values high. The attack was aimed at young politicians, who would be the future prime ministers and ministers, who believed in the values of a more diverse and democratic Norway. We need to use the voice and freedom of expression to get people to understand that the responsibility to contribute to the "Never more 22. July" applies to all of us.

We need to work together, , regardless of whether we are politicians or not, that we are never going to experience the terror. It may not be an "us" and "them", there must be a "we".

"Never more 22. July" means that all work against the hateful, extremist, racist and undemocratic attitudes - every single day. No match is too large or too small. Not one minute of silence but a whole life in battle.
