Trollstigen-Geiranger

the Road continues over the mountain (852 m above sea level) and down to Valldal. Here is also located the famous Gorge Landskapshotell and Winds. From Valldal, the journey goes westwards to the Linge and the ferry across the fjord to Eidsdal with the possibilities for a side trip to the Herdalssetra that in over 300 years has driven the mountain farm operation. From Eidsdal to go way forward to the Ørnesvingen which is a beautiful vantage point over the Geiranger and the Geirangerfjord.

In Geiranger, it is almost a mandatory stop for a stroll in the turistbygda which stands on the verdensarvlista to UNESCO. Norsk Fjordsenter and the Flydalsjuvet viewing platform is also worth a stop, by the way. The same is Dalsnibba (1476 m above sea level) is a fabulous vantage point, before you continue to the Langvatn, which is the other end of the route. Now take you to the right and west on E15 and run towards Stryn. Already at the Videseter starting the next tourist, but feel free to first trip all the way down to the Furniture, which has both an old family-run timber hotels and the popular gamlebutikken. Afterwards you drive back to Videseter and into the Rv 258.

Old Strynefjellsvei
This is the shortest of the national turistvegene and go from Videseter in Stryn municipality to Grotli in Skjåk municipality in the gudbrandsdal valley. The road is only 27 km long but is very beautiful and in places, is narrow and winding. It is therefore, not recommended for large motorhomes or cars with caravans. the Trip goes on along Langvatnet, Vassvendtjønnin and Heillstuguvatnet to Grotli.
At this end of the Old Strynefjellsveg takes you to the right, east on the E15.Now the trip goes towards the next national tourist route, Sognefjellsvegen, which is Northern Europe's highest mountain crossings. The trip goes via Bismo, Skjåk and Lom.

Sognefjellsvegen
In the Lom takes you off to the right and into the Rv 55. Maybe it is time for a stop and a visit to the famous Lom Bakery and the old Lom stave church? And from here it is really close between the attractions of the mountain. On one of the narrow points in the Bøverdalen valley, it was in his time so crowded that hestekjerrene got stuck in "your hands" between the two stones.

Take off at Ryfoss and run Fv 2508/Rv51 towards Beitostølen.

the Valdresflye plateau
Tuesday has distinguished itself as a winter sports resort, but is also worth to visit in the summertime. The road further north over the beautiful Valdresflye plateau and ends up in Sjodalen. the

-The national tourist route over Valdresflye is a gift package from the state, believes Atle Hovi, director of Beitstølen Resort.

-Since it opened in 2012 have sommertrafikken increased significantly. The route has generated significant international attention.

Hindseter hotel from 1898 is located by the road and here you will be wandering in the forest in Sjodalen. Close by is Ridderspranget, while further down in Sjodalen is more popular raftingsentre. And if you don't have a fear of water so this is a fun experience.

the Trip goes further to the E6 through Gudbrandsdalen valley, and drops south to Frya a little north of Ringebu. Here you are off and running east on the Rv27.

National Tourist route Rondane
the route starts on the Venabygdsfjellet and go to Folldal. The road also has a small detour to The church before you drive back to the Rv27. Rondane is norway's oldest national park and a good part of the trip goes long the beautiful and long Atnadalen. Atnjsøen is perfect for paddling and fishing, and, of course, an excellent starting point for nice hiking. This national tourist route is 75 km long and ends as mentioned in Folldal. And here you can either choose to drive east to Alvdal, Østerdalen or west and end up at Hjerkinn and Dovre.
