It has in the wake of the racism-the demonstrations started up a petition to remove the statues from the streets of Oslo. The petition is looking for the statues of the persons who according to the rebels have had racist attitudes, and some statues have been tagged down.

Now suggest the Green Youth and the rebels to remove the statue of Winston Churchill. It is nothing else than historieløst and eye-catching.

Is the man which in fact have fought against racism in Europe, is the Churchill. It is a lie and historieforfalskning that Churchill was a racist. Churchill was the quick resolution of commercial disputes in Europe who actually took to rebuke racist ideologies as fascism and nazism.

Green Youth may be sent to a history book that tells us about Churchill's efforts during the second world war against fascism and nazism.

Freedom from the totalitarian states and the freedom to be themselves, to speak what you want and vote on the one you want is the values that we take for granted.

values that stands on the game in large parts of the world and the rise of dangerous ideologies is on advancing. Many of these values should we thank Churchill and other heads of state in Europe who, through actions and words fought against.

Full argument about Churchill's dark past: - A villain

the Statues set up by previous generations to mark the important events and important people. We can't change or censor our history, and we can not pretend that we have a different story. The story is as it is, and attempts to censor our history is nothing other than historieløst and a declaration of bankruptcy against the future of the education of future generations.

I'm not the person that links me firmly to the objects and buildings that will be removed, unless they are incredibly important to me. That I'm going to do this time. My right to speak, be different and all the political values I stand for are rooted in the Churchills’ statue.

Several of the rebels believe that Churchill was a racist. West trevor Bruu in the Green Youth manage to write "Churchill saved us from nazism, but who is "us"? For he rescued not "us", he saved some of us and did it to the rest that he saved any of us from.". Here is a historielærer that has not done its job.

" The battle against the nazis and fascism in Norway was crucial for the freedom in Norway and in Europe. He was the leader of the world's fight against the nazi board of directors who for many years occupied several countries, including Norway.

Let the statues stand Leader

To crush nazism and fascism was important for the whole world, and not only for those groups that were directly victimized by these ideologies. The fight against anti-semitism is not only a battle that the jews will take, but a fight the whole world to take together.

In 1948 Winston Churchill on a visit to Norway. Although the visit was a private visit, and Churchill was the opposition leader, was the visit about so much more than that. He gave a speech to the people from balustraden at the Oslo city hall, and it is estimated that there were over one hundred thousand people present during the speech. The number of people present during the speech says something about the importance of Churchill's battle against nazism and fascism.

– how can we have this debate? A basic value in Norwegian society about freedom of expression and the right to be different is in direct conflict with nazism and fascism.

It was absolutely essential and is necessary to combat these two ideologies. It was necessary that people be able to live freely, act freely and be who they are. This was the ideologies that directly discriminated against persons on the basis of ethnicity and religion. It is a time we are not going back to.

Sarah Zahid, who apparently also is a member of the commission on freedom of expression, come with a sting against those who want to keep the statues of Churchill, and writes that "..because the slave trade and racism was common acceptable during their time..".

that's The whole point to keep the statue of Churchill. There has hardly been any other people who have fought against injustice and racism throughout the world as the Churchill has done. Further mentions Zahid that "it took no long time after the second world war to remove nazi symbols from public places". Yes, and there shall we thank Churchill for.

There are a few people that has meant so much for my freedom to be able to say what I want, think what I want and be who I want to like the Churchill has been. Thank you for this freedom and løsrivelsen from the nazi and fascist picture, I would suggest the opposite of the historieløse the debate. I will have several Churchill statues in the whole of Norway!
