Vox appeals to the ERC and Junts groups in Congress for "fraudulent" and for being a waste of 728,000 euros a year

The Vox parliamentary group has registered this Tuesday an appeal to the Congress Table demanding the annulment of the ERC and Junts parliamentary groups, whose authorization by the Chamber Table considers a "fraud of law" that violates the rights of the other formations and that will mean an excess of public spending of more than 728,000 euros per year.

He also requests in another letter that the payment of salaries be suspended and that the mobile phones and other material means be withdrawn from the deputies of Esquerra, Junts, Bildu, Sumar and BNG who added taglines in co-official languages ​​when promising the Constitution in the constitutive session, Well, Vox maintains that they have not yet taken the seat properly.

In its appeal, collected by Europa Press, Vox points out that the transfer of deputies from the PSOE and Sumar so that the pro-independence members of Junts and ERC can form their own group is "a fraudulent formula" that supposes an "irregularity" by contravening article 23.2 of the Rules of Congress that prohibits "deputies belonging to the same party from forming a separate Parliamentary Group".

In his opinion, the "illegitimate" constitution of these two parliamentary groups also supposes "an attack against the rights of the other deputies", since it influences the composition of the commissions, question time and the quotas for the defense of initiatives .

It also maintains that "proportionality is violated when distributing resources between parliamentary groups" and an "excess spending" of 728,321.28 euros a year (about 60,700 euros a month) is generated that will go to those two parliamentary groups whose deputies, in their opinion, should be in the Mixed.

In another of the writings, he insists on invalidating the inauguration of the deputies who promised the Constitution with additions contrary to it or formulated in co-official languages ​​that the other parliamentarians did not understand, something that the Vox spokeswoman, Pepa Millán, already denounced in the constitutive session of Congress.

Specifically, Vox wants the compliance with the Constitution of 30 deputies (the seven ERC deputies, the seven from Junts, the six from Bildu, nine from Sumar and the BNG) to be invalidated and that the payment of subsidies be suspended to their groups and the salary they receive.

And since he does not consider that they have acquired the full status of deputy, those of Santiago Abascal also demand in another letter that those thirty parliamentarians be removed from their mobile phones, tablets, offices and the material resources that the Chamber provided them.

The writings will be analyzed at the next meeting of the Congress Table, presumably next week, although the PSOE and Sumar have a 5-4 majority against the PP, while Vox was left out as it did not have the support of the ' popular'.
