US bombs pro-Iranian militia positions in Syria in response to two attacks on one of its bases

MADRID, 23 Ene. (EUROPA PRESS) -

The US Army has bombed pro-Iranian militia positions in the town of Jasham, in the Syrian region of Deir Ezzor (east), in response to two attacks by these groups against the US base in the Koniko oil field.

The Syrian Observatory for Human Rights has reported that up to 15 militia missiles have hit the interior of the base, although no casualties have been reported at the moment.

This type of armed groups have intensified their attacks against US bases in both Syria and Iraq due to Washington's support for Israel in its offensive against the Gaza Strip, and the aforementioned organization, based in London but an informant in the Arab country, has already documented almost a hundred of these types of actions in Syrian territory alone.
